It was the public’s last chance to voice their opinions about the closing of Westmeath and Madawaska Public schools.
Several delegations showed up at the Renfrew County District School Board office to have their say earlier this week.
Ten presentations were heard on behalf of Westmeath that pointed out the flaws in the plans to close the schools and relocate the students.
The final decision will be made by board trustees at the end of this month.
