While sales were consistent with last year, the homes Renfrew County residents are buying are much more expensive than they were.

According to the Renfrew County Real Estate Board, the average price of a home in the County was over $469,000, which is an all-time record. Compared to last year, this is a 45 percent increase. The statistic comes as home sales were comparable to the same time last year at just a four sale difference. The county saw $64.8 million in total home sales in November, which is a new record for the month.

The supply of homes remains low, with active listings posting 70 percent below the 10-year average. Only 143 listings were posted in the month of November.
