The Renfrew County District Health Unit is organizing more times where you can get a jab of a COVID-19 vaccine.

They say due to popular demand and an influx of requests, they will add more clinics to their online booking system by December 15th. They are urging people in the meantime to check if they are eligible for a booster shot on their website before they book appointments. Those who received their second dose before June 20th will be allowed to receive their third.

Currently, Renfrew County and District has a high level of people aged 12 and up who are fully vaccinated. 87 percent of the population have gotten two or three doses of a vaccine, while nearly 90 percent have received their first shot.
