It was a successful Santa Claus Parade for the Madawaska Valley Food Bank.

Paul Thompson, the Food Bank President, says this year the parade netted $500 in donations and at least 15 bags of groceries. Thompson says it was the best year for donations at the Santa Claus Parade. He says he appreciates the support from the community for all they do to help the Food Bank

Thompson says that they can continue to take e-transfers using the email [email protected]. For those in need, the food bank is open every second and fourth Tuesday of the month, and people can register on site at their location on Martin Street that day.
