Distracted Driving Numbers Are In

The numbers are in from the latest distracted driving campaign by the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP.
A total of 22 people were charged with using their cell phones while driving during the campaign in Petawawa.
Officers spent 74 hours on focused patrols that watched for distracted drivers within the town and on Highway 17.
During the campaign, 13 unrelated charges were laid and 18 warnings were handed out.
