Wheels Of Hope To Get Over $8,800 Donation

The Wheels Of Hope program has received almost nine thousand dollars from the Women Walking for Hope fundraiser.
The fifth annual event was more than a success as seven women walked from the Petawawa Civic Centre to the Canadian Cancer Society’ Pembroke office and back again.
The fundraising goal was set at $5,000 this year, but they almost doubled that with over $8,800 being raised.
Since they began five years ago, Women Walking for Hope has raised over $28,000 to be put towards the Wheels of Hope initiative.
