With the approval of booster shots across the province, the Renfrew County District Health Unit will allow some groups to book a shot this week.

On Friday, November 5th, The Health Unit is opening up its online booking system to any of the eligible groups. They say booking online is the fastest way to guarantee a shot, and those unable to book online are encouraged to ask a family member or friend to do it for them.

Groups eligible include those born on or earlier than 1951, health care workers, essential caregivers, those who took the AstraZeneca or Janssen vaccine, and immunocompromised and Indigenous People.

The online booking system can be found on the Renfrew County District Health Unit’s Website.
