Expect to get a visit from members of the Legion if you are a local business owner in Barry’s Bay.

Heather Poliquin, Campaign Chair of Legion Branch 406, says volunteers will begin distributing donation boxes and poppies to businesses and schools on Friday, October 29th. All money raised will go towards supporting local veterans and their families. The campaign will last until November 11th.

The Legion has also announced it will be holding its Remembrance Day ceremony at its location at 250 John Street on Thursday, November 11th. They ask all who are attending to arrive before 10:45 AM that day.
