Catch the Ace’s lottery licence renewed

Just over a week after it wrapped up, the Catch the Ace lottery is back.

The fundraiser for the St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation will begin ticket sales again on October 28th after its Ontario Lottery and Gaming licence was renewed. The goal is to raise $100,000 to replace the wireless detector for the X-ray machine at the Hospital. The last lottery raised over $39,000.

The last round of the lottery wrapped up on October 14th, with Elsie Mask from Round Lake winning the grand prize after drawing the ace of spades in envelope #20. She won a grand prize of $27,838.50.

With each purchase, 50 percent of ticket sales go to the fundraiser, with 20 percent being won by a weekly winner, and 30 percent going into a progressive jackpot. Whoever gets the Ace of Spades claims the progressive jackpot. Tickets can be purchased at:
