The Township of Madawaska Valley says they are saddened by recent vandalism in Barry’s Bay.
A number of Remembrance Day banners have been taken or damaged in town. The banners have been hung in town to commemorate local veterans leading up to November 11th. The Township is asking anyone who has witnessed the damage to come forward.
The Township says that vandalism of property in the municipality is an ongoing issue. With financial and non-financial costs because of the damage, they are turning to the community for help in stopping it.
Anyone who wishes to report vandalism can do so on the Township website, or by calling 613-746-2747.
