Bonnechere Valley council is considering allowing a mobile skate sharpening shop in the Eganville Arena parking lot next winter.
Paul Lance has requested to bring his business to the area for one day a week as he does in other communities around the Valley.
A petition is being circulated around town, and council wants to find out what the public’s view is on the idea.
The main concern is that the existing skate shop in town would be undercut.
The matter has been shelved to be discussed at a later date.
