Health Unit says Armed Forces vaccination passports different from provincial ones

The Renfrew County District Health Unit is reminding businesses and facilities that Canadian Armed Forces members don’t get the same vaccine passports as the civilian population.

The Health Unit says CAF members will present businesses with their vaccine booklet and their military ID. They warn that vaccination proof for CAF members may take many forms, like an entry in the booklet, a sheet of paper, or a card.

However, the Unit also says that those with these types of passports can be verified easily. Businesses can confirm if the passport is authentic by matching the service number and name that can be found on both the military ID and the vaccine booklet.
