The Renfrew County District Health Unit is investigating a possible COVID-19 exposure at a Combermere restaurant.

The Health Unit says an individual who provided service at the Bent Anchor Bar and Restaurant tested positive for COVID-19. As a result, those who attended the restaurant from September 1st until the 6th from 3 PM until 9:30 PM are being asked to self-monitor for symptoms.

The Health Unit says that if no symptoms occur by September 16th, you are in the clear. However, those who become symptomatic must self-isolate and seek testing, even if they are vaccinated.

The Bent Anchor recently closed its doors as their season came to an end. The Health Unit continues to work with the owners to identify anyone who may have been exposed.
