Many residents across North Hastings and Renfrew County may briefly find themselves without power this month.
A number of planned power outages on September 26th will result in over 15,000 customers not having power.
The first of these will happen around 5 AM. An area covering North Hastings, South Algonquin, Madawaska Valley and Brudenell-Lyndoch-Raglan will see 13,908 customers go dark.

Another repair at the same time will affect parts of the same area. Hydro One says that this is because they will be replacing hydro poles.
Finally, repairs from 7:30 AM until 10:30 AM will affect parts of Faraday, Cardiff and Bancroft. Hydro One says they are replacing an insulator and will affect around 2,000 customers.
