After closing their doors due to a COVID-19 case in the community, South Algonquin Township will open to the public again.

The municipality will reopen their office and resume regular duties on Tuesday, September 7th. They had closed their offices on August 19th to minimize the potential for COVID-19 spread in the community.

Bryan Martin, CAO with the municipality, says they made the move out of an abundance of caution, even though he did confirm that the case was not directly tied to the municipality or its staff.
