The Fourth Annual Online Auction has kicked off for the St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation, with more prizes than ever before.

The Auction will run until September 3rd, which is the kickoff date of the Foundation’s annual golf tournament. The auction will raise money to buy a Glidescope core unit, which is a visual system used for airway procedures.

Rosanne Hoffman, lead organizing volunteer, says they have 64 packages to bid on this year, which is more than they ever had before. In total there are over $15,000 worth of prizes to be bid on, which includes prizes like artwork, clothing, gift cards, barbeques, restaurant packages and a kayak. She says there is something for everyone, and individuals and volunteers have stepped up and donated to the auction to support local healthcare.

“There’s always concern with of course COVID,” Hoffman says ”we are all aware of that, but similarly everyone is aware that we really need our hospital, so everyone is still willing to help and they’re still coming through for us, so we’re grateful for that.”

Erin Geinow, Executive Director for the Foundation, says Hoffman and a group of volunteers put hundreds of hours into making the fundraiser successful every year, and that she could couldn’t do it without them.

“We really are inspired every day by our generous supporters and volunteers who continue to make local healthcare a priority so that our caregivers have the equipment they need to care for us all.”
