It’s a first step for entrepreneurs to see what it’s like to run a business.
The Killaloe Farmer’s Market is celebrating its new and junior vendors on August 14th. They are inviting young entrepreneurs to set up shop at a reduced fee of $5. Market Organizer Rachelle Clayton says they have done the program for a number of years, and there are a variety of vendors who have taken advantage of it.
Clayton says there are no age limits to be part of the Junior Vendor Program. She called it a good opportunity to network and gain insights into opening a business. She says that many young vendors have brought innovative and inspiring ideas in years past.
