Two arrested in connection with a suspicious death in North Algona Wilberforce

Police have made arrests in connection to a suspicious death that happened at a motel on Highway 60.

OPP received a call around 6:30 PM on Wednesday, July 21st. Police arrived to find a 40-year-old male with serious injuries. He was treated by Renfrew County Paramedics, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The investigation is still in its early stages, OPP has made two arrests in relation to the case. Both the identities of the deceased and the suspects are not being released at this time.

Police believe there is no threat to public safety.
