North Algona Wilberforce Council is heating up again after Mayor Deborah Farr was asked to step down.
Two councillors made the request, and according to Farr, the issue won’t be dropped.
She says it was a surprise move by council to ask for her resignation since it wasn’t included in her agenda.
She went on to say that she is there to serve the residents of North Algona Wilberforce and wants council working toward that goal.
Calls to the other councillors were not returned.
