Renfrew County District Health Unit cancelling second dose appointments after July 18th

If you have an appointment to get a second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine from the Renfrew County District Health Unit (RCDHU) after July 18th, you will have to rebook it soon.

The RCDHU is cancelling all second dose appointments after that date, and they must be rescheduled. They say this is due to increased eligibility of second doses and more vaccines flowing into the District. They are asking those with cancelled appointments to rebook online earlier than their initial appointment. The RCDHU will add slots over the next few weeks so that people can get their second shot sooner.

The Unit says their online book portal is the fastest way to book their second appointment and ask a family member to help them if they are unable to book online themselves. If they are not able to register online, they must call the RCDHU at 613-732-3629. They ask people to only book one appointment per person. If they are unable to find a date, they suggest signing up to their Extra Dose Signup List, which will inform residents if a clinic has extra doses available.
