The latest farmer’s market in the region is ready to open for the season.

The Killaloe Farmers Market will be opening Saturday the 26th from 9 AM until 1 PM. The first market, called the Back-to-the-Land Celebration, will happen at the Killaloe Lion’s Field at 1 Lion’s Lane. It is the 21st year the Farmer’s Market has been open.

However, due to COVID restrictions, there are some extra rules that must be followed this year. Each vendor has to pre-register and they will not be provided chairs and tables. Stalls will be $10 if you bring a tent (which is recommended) and $12 if you need to be provided one. Those who require hydro will be charged another $5. Vendors and visitors must meet the Health Unit and Farmer’s Market guidelines.

The Market will run until Thanksgiving.
