Renfrew Water Clean Up

Renfrew is taking steps to deal with the manganese levels in the water supply.
Although the township says it is an aesthetic problem and that the water is completely safe, a motion has been passed to rectify the issue.
The town has hired an engineering firm to develop a manganese treatment system at the Renfrew water filtration plant.
The town has over 120 thousand dollars set aside in the budget for the plan, and it is expected to be completed by the end of summer.
