Virtual events happening for Madawaska Valley High School Graduation

Graduation ceremonies at Madawaska Valley High School will look similar to how they were last year.

Hannah MacMillan, Communications Coordinator for the Renfrew County District School Board, says all schools, including Madawaska Valley, will have a time where students can come down to the school and pick up caps, gowns, and lawn signs, as well as take pictures. Each school will have their own dates when this will happen and will be communicated to students and parents.

All graduation ceremonies will be virtual and will take place on June 30th. MacMillan says that while some students would have liked to see an in-person ceremony, many students and staff have worked hard to put together these ceremonies. While it may not be the same as an in-person ceremony, each event will still have its own special set of speakers and acknowledgements.
