Two men from the area have been arrested in a massive Ontario child online exploitation investigation.
Twenty nine year old Nicholas Cloutier from Petawawa and 52-year-old Daniel Bruce Mitchell of Pembroke are facing numerous charges for possessing and making child pornography available.
A total of 274 charges have been laid against 80 people across the province in a massive operation that involved multiple police forces.
OPP Sergeant Peter Leon says this bust is unprecedented.


He said the investigation involved Canadian Border Services, the Canadian Forces National Investigation Services and the United States Homeland Security Investigations.
A total of nine girls between the ages of 14 and 16 were rescued during this operation.
