The Creative Woodstacking Competition has won the Special Event of the Year award from the Ottawa Valley Tourist Association.
The winners of the OTVA awards were announced on Tuesday during the association’s AGM.
The Woodstacking competition was put on by the township of Madawaska Valley last September.
The goal was for teams of artists to display a cord of firewood in the most creative way possible while using only hand tools.
