Ontario adds 525 new COVID-19 cases
Ontario is reporting its lowest number of COVID-19 cases since last September.
The province added 525 new cases Monday with fifty-seven per cent in the hot spots around the GTHA and Waterloo Region.
Another 15 people have died with the death toll now at 8,869.
The recovery rate has reached 97 per cent with more recoveries than new cases reported.
Over 116,000 vaccines were given over the last day with over 15,000 tests done.
Test positivity is at 3.6 per cent.
