One of the drivers involved in a collision on Highway 41 in Bonnechere Valley has died as a result of his injuries.
On Thursday, Police responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 41 at the intersection of Wentland Road. The investigation revealed that an SUV collided with an oncoming motorcycle. The driver of the motorcycle was taken to hospital and died due to his injuries. The driver of the SUV, a 55-year-old from Bonnechere Valley, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The deceased has been identified as 77-year-old Simon Legree of Perth, Ontario. Police are still investigating the causes of the collision.
