OPP Looking for Missing Boater on Mink Lake

The OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Team is looking for a missing person on Mink Lake.

Police responded to a report of an unoccupied boat circling Mink Lake in Hastings Highlands on Sunday around 6:30 PM. They are searching for a 68-year-old resident of Ajax. An initial search by the Bancroft OPP and the Hastings Highlands Fire Department turned up with nothing.

The search continues Monday with aid from the OPP’s helicopter team and the Bancroft detachment. No other details were given.
