The Petawawa Police Services Board is doing its best to stop people from texting and driving.
A new distracted driving campaign was rolled out to Petawawa councillors on Monday by several OPP officers.
According to Councillor Treena Lemay, who is also a police services board chairwoman, they have high hopes for the campaign.

She went on to say that the rates of distracted driving in reported collisions is rising.
They believe education is the best way to stomp out cell phone use while driving.
