OPP on the Lookout For Mugger

Renfrew OPP is on the lookout for a suspect after a woman was mugged in Renfrew.
The 60-year-old woman was crossing Lochiel Street around Opeongo Road on Friday night when a man came up from behind and grabbed her purse.
OPP Constable Janice Sawbridge says they don’t have much to go on.

Sawbridge went on to remind people to try and make eye contact with everyone you see while out walking, avoid dark areas and cross the street if you feel threatened.
Also, she says to never fight back if being robbed, as it can become violent.
