Highway 17 is closed west of Arnprior due to a vehicle collision that has left one person dead.
The deceased is reported to be a construction worker, although the Renfrew OPP has not released their identity.
Several people were also hurt in the collision that involved at least two vehicles.

Highway 17 is closed from Campbell Drive to Calabogie Road, just west of Arnprior.
A detour has been set up.
