Man Killed in Highway 17 Collision

A 19-year-old man was killed in a crash that closed Highway 17 at Murphy Road.
Emergency crews responded to the collision between a tractor trailer and a car early Saturday morning.
The driver and passenger of the tractor trailer, both 53 years old, were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
The highway was closed into the afternoon while police investigated.
