Roadwork In Madawaska Valley

Several road construction projects are ready to go in Madawaska Valley.
The township is spending almost $1.2 million this year on several roads throughout the area.
A two and a half kilometer section of Perrier Road is getting a $100,000 facelift.
Sunny Hill Road has a 2.7 kilometer stretch to be reworked that will cost the township $120,000.
The township also received a grant of over $1 million from the Connecting Links Program for more work on Opeongo Line.
Wilno North, Airport and Lower Craigmont Road are all slated for gravel resurfacing to the tune of $140,000.
