The Renfrew County District School Board has confirmed that they are staying open for in-person learning.
In a statement, the board says the stay-at-home order does not apply to school boards. They are also encouraging parents to contact their childcare providers to confirm hours of operation, as they are permitted to remain open as well.
The Board says they are speaking with the health unit on a weekly basis and will remain focused on making sure their schools are safe.
