COVID-19 Outbreak at Miramichi Lodge Declared Over

Renfrew County has said the COVID-19 Outbreak at Miramichi lodge is over.

Acting Medical of Health for the Health Unit Dr. Robert Cushman says that vaccinations played a key role in most residents recovering. While 5 residents were able to recover, 2 residents passed away as a result of the outbreak.

Chair of the County’s Health Committee, Mayor Michael Donohue, expressed his sympathies to the families of the two members who died, and extended his gratitude to the staff at the lodge.
