Renfrew County has updated the public about the COVBID-19 outbreak in the Mirimichi Lodge long-term care home.
They say three of the cases in the home have been cleared and have returned to their units. However, 2 more cases have been detected and have been put in isolation. 96% of the residents have been vaccinated with their first shot. There have been no recorded cases in staff.
It is the last active outbreak in Renfrew County and District, according to the Health Unit’s latest summary. the unit has 29 active cases of COVID-19, the majority in McNabb-Braeside Township and Petawawa. No cases have been reported in Madawaska Valley or surrounding townships.
