Today is Pink shirt day, raising awareness about Bullying at school, in the workplace and online.

Madawaska Valley District High School Principle Dean Zadow says inclusivity is important to life at the school. He says they think everyone should be comfortable in their building regardless of their beliefs. Zadow says they want to spread the message of taking care of each other beyond pink shirt day. He says it’s important to take a stand when someone is in need, and reach out when someone needs help.

Plans had been made for students to wear pink shirts and be entered into a draw to win school cafeteria money. However, due to the bus cancellations, they are asking students to wear pink tomorrow.
