Killaloe OPP investigated a number of vehicle collisions over the last few days.

OPP say they responded to a single-vehicle collision on Combermere Road south of Barney’s Drive just outside of Barry’s Bay. The car left the roadway and collided with a rock cut, with a 46-year-old from Petawawa taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

OPP then responded over the weekend to a snowmobile collision with a tree on the E109 snowmobile trail in Madawaska Valley. A 50-year-old from Ashton had lost control, and was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Both incidents resulted in no charges, but OPP is warning snowmobilers to drive to the speed limit and within your own ability. They also ask riders to watch for fences, guidewires, trees, or any other difficult-to-spot vehicles.
