Opeongo Heritage Cup Cancelled for a Second Year

For the second year in a row, the Opeongo Heritage Cup has been cancelled.

Madawaska Valley Councilor David Shulist says that COVID has suspended the cup until 2022. He says that due to the international nature of the event, they cannot guarantee safety of players or residents. He says everything related to Kashubian Heritage is at a standstill.

The cup is typically held at the end of March.
