Zero COVID-19 Cases in Madawaska Valley Ahead of Provincial Lockdown Announcement

The Renfrew County District Health Unit is reporting no active cases of COVID-19 in Madawaska Valley ahead of an update on provincial lockdowns.

In total there are 5 active cases in the entire health unit, with the remaining cases in the Towns of Renfrew and Arnprior, and the Townships of Brudenell-Lyndoch-Raglan and Bonnechere Valley. The total count sits at 306 cases for the health unit, with 2 deaths. 19 of those cases were in the Madawaska Valley area.

The Province is expected to go back to the colour-coded lockdown method later today.
