For those wondering about how bad flooding will be during the spring, there is a ray of hope.

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry has said the amount of water in the snowpack is average for mid-January in areas around Renfrew County and Pembroke. Environment Canada has said that precipitation has been average so far this winter.
