Valley Manor Gets Financial Boost from Province To Help with COVID Protections

The Valley Manor will be getting a funding boost to stop COVID-19 from entering long term care homes.

MPP John Yakabuski announced that the government is releasing funding to help long term care homes better prevent COVID from entering and to control it if it does. Valley Manor will receive $45,000 for prevention and containment measures. The measures will include hiring new staff, enhanced screening and implementing infection control measures.

The manor has received $435,000  in containment support since the pandemic began.
