Police encouraging drivers to prepare for winter

Police are encouraging drivers to get ready for winter as we get closer to the season.

The OPP says you should prepare your vehicle and to adjust your driving to the roads ahead.

On the long weekend, police say stunt driving charges were up 71 percent over the year before in Ontario.  Police say there were 478 seatbelt charges, 83 impaired driving violations and four deaths in speed-related collisions in the province.
