Madawaska Valley is looking to do a bit of spring cleaning for Pitch-In Canada starting this Sunday.
Residents can get plastic bags from the township for free and the cleaning is a free for all for anyone interested in pitching in.
Operations Manager Hilary Kutchkoskie does however urge caution.
Kutchkoskie says it is an easy way to get out and enjoy the spring weather while helping clean up the community.
He also points out that the program may be extended a couple weeks to allow for the excess snow to melt.
