Killaloe OPP Searching For Driver Involved With Christmas Eve Collision

Police are asking the public for help in an investigation after a driver fled the scene following a collision.

On December 24th, around 7:35 p.m., officers from the Killaloe OPP responded to a two-vehicle crash involving a passenger car and an SUV at the intersection of Annie Street and Queen Street.

The OPP say the driver of the passenger car failed to stay at the scene after it struck the SUV that was proceeding through the intersection.

No injuries are being reported.

Meanwhile, on December 27th, police found the car believed to be involved in the collision abandoned on Ruby Road.

The car sustained extensive damage and police confirmed it had been stolen from the Kitchener area.

The OPP says its still looking for the driver of the car and is urging anyone with information to contact them.
