OPP Ask Residents To Keep Parked Cars Off Roadways For Snow Removal

Residents are being reminded to keep their cars off the road to help keep the roads clear of snow.

The Killaloe OPP is urging people to move parked cars from roads so that county employees can deal with snow removal in the community.

According to the Ontario Highway Safety Act, it’s illegal to park your car on a highway in a way that inhibits traffic or the clearing of snow from the highway.

You can be fined up to $100, and costs for towing and storage may also apply.
