Snowmobile Season is right around the corner and Renfrew County is preparing.

The County says they have begun opening up the Algonquin and K&P Trails, despite the provincial COVID-19 lockdown. They say that trails servicing snowmobiles have been allowed under the new protocols because they can follow public health guidelines. The County is reminding riders that they are taking all guidelines seriously, and are urging riders to stay 2 meters away and be in groups of no more than 10. They say OPP will be enforcing these guidelines throughout the snowmobiling season.

Renfrew County is also reminding ATV users that access to them has stopped as of December 1st. For those looking for a trail, they say to check on the OFSC trail guide, which you can find here.
