A Commercial truck driver pulled over by Killaloe OPP has been charged several times under the Highway Traffic Act.

The 59-year-old driver from Killaloe was pulled over on Stone Church Road last month. The driver has been charged with permitting a person with an improper license to drive a commercial motor vehicle, driving a commercial vehicle without the required inspection, and failing to ensure performance standards were met. The vehicle in question had no directional signals, no brake lights, was over height and width, and didn’t have the proper inspection reports.  The driver was issued with a summon to appear in court at a later date.

OPP are reminding all drivers to do their part to limit the number of commercial vehicle fatalities on the road.
