Flood Warning For Madawaska River

Another flood warning has been issued in Renfrew County.
This time all eyes will be on the Madawaska River which joins the Bonnechere River as a flood risk.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry say localized flooding may happen downstream from the Palmer Rapids Dam, and as well on Round Lake and Golden Lake.
The MNRF is advising all residents to keep an eye on changing conditions and to practice caution around rivers and streams.
The flood watch for the rest of Renfrew County still remains in effect.
