The Renfrew County District Health Unit is reporting a suspected outbreak at Canadian Nuclear Laboratories.
The Health Unit has been working closely with CNL to find close contacts in the facility. Staff who have been identified as close contacts with the positive cases have been told to go home immediately. They have also been told to self-isolate and arrange for testing.
RCDHU reminds everyone who has been directed to self-isolate to stay home and do not go to any public place, or to work, school or child care centers. They say you can go outside but must stay on your own property. They say to avoid contact with others and to have no visitors unless deemed essential. If these steps are not possible, they say to stay two meters away from others at all times and wear a mask.
